Ever since Wednesday’s game versus the Atlanta Hawks, Lakers Nation has been hearing news varying about his ankle injury from “Kobe is may be done for the season” (via KTLA) to “I wouldn’t be surprised if Kobe played friday” (via Dr. Klapper of 710 ESPN Radio). We’ve seen pictures from Kobe’s wife on Instagram and even updates from Kobe’s own Twitter account.
This morning we get an update from the Lakers via Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times that Kobe will be a game-time decision, which bodes well for the overall condition of Kobe’s ankle:
D’Antoni: Kobe is a game-time decision tonight. Meeks starts in his place if he can’t go.

*Update – Kobe Bryant warms up for 20 minutes and looks like he’ll play.
From @laireland on @espnla710 – “You can safely assume that (Kobe’s) going to try and play.”
